🚢 Battleship
Hide your five ships, then hunt down the computer's. Tap your own waters to place a ship, then fire at the enemy grid. First to sink the whole fleet wins.

How to Play
- Place your fleet
- Tap a square in your waters to drop the next ship there — the square you tap is its top or left end. Use Across / Down (or press R) to turn it, or press Place For Me to scatter the whole fleet at random.
- Your ships
- Carrier (5), Battleship (4), Cruiser (3), Submarine (3) and Destroyer (2). Ships can't overlap, but they may sit right next to each other.
- Firing
- Tap a square in the enemy waters. A red square is a hit, a pale one is a miss. Sink every enemy ship to win — but the computer is firing back at your fleet each turn too.
- How the computer plays
- It fires more or less at random until it hits something, then works outwards from that hit. Once it lands two hits in a row it knows which way the ship is lying and follows the line.
- Tip
- Every ship is at least two squares long, so you never need to fire at two squares side by side — checking every other square still finds every ship, in half the shots.
