How to Play
- Make a guess
- Tap a colour to drop it into the highlighted slot, or tap a slot first to choose where it goes. On a keyboard, 1–8 pick colours, arrows move between slots, Backspace clears one and Enter checks.
- Reading the clues
- Each guess gets a set of small dots. A black dot means one peg is the right colour in the right place. A white dot means a peg is the right colour but in the wrong place. The dots don't tell you which pegs — that's the puzzle!
- Important
- Each peg only ever earns one dot. If the code has one red and you guess three reds, you get one dot for red, not three.
- Difficulty
- Easy is 4 pegs from 6 colours with no repeats and 12 tries. Medium allows repeated colours. Hard is 5 pegs from 8 colours with repeats and 10 tries.
- Tip
- Start by trying a row of one colour, then a row of another. That tells you exactly how many of each colour the code contains before you worry about where they go.
