๐Ÿ’ฃ Minesweeper

Open every square that isn't a mine. The numbers tell you how many mines are touching that square โ€” use them to work out where the mines must be. Your very first tap is always safe.

How to Play

Digging
Tap a square to open it. If it's blank, all the squares around it open too, which is how you clear big areas quickly.
What the numbers mean
A 3 means exactly three of the eight squares touching it are mines. That's your only clue โ€” and it's always enough.
Flags
When you're sure a square is a mine, flag it so you don't tap it by mistake. Turn on ๐Ÿšฉ Flag Mode (or press F) and tapping plants flags instead of digging. On a computer you can also just right-click.
The quick trick
Once a number has that many flags around it, tap the number itself and everything else beside it opens at once. Careful โ€” if a flag is in the wrong place, this sets off the mine.
Your first tap is safe
The mines aren't placed until after you tap, and they're kept away from that square and its neighbours. So you'll never lose on move one, and you always start with a nice big opening.
Tip
If a 1 already has one flag next to it, every other square touching that 1 is safe. Most of Minesweeper is that one idea, used over and over.
